Places to Eat or Grab a Light Bite
There are plenty of great places to eat all within walking distance or Rickshaw distance of our short term rental, these are just a few of our favorites.
Blossom Cafe - Contemporary restaurant offering American cuisine with a Mediterranean influence; located on East Bay Street, just off Market Street.
California Dreaming - It is a little touristy but the location West Ashley, on the Charleston Harbour, makes it a great place for dinner. It is a casual restaurant with good salads and tasty ribs.
Club Habana For the cigar and martini lover, this is a must. In addition to the fact we gave the place a reputation, they have light hors devours and are open until 2AM.
Marina Variety Store & Restaurant - Casual seafood restaurant located on the water at the Charleston Marina about a mile or so from the house. The prices are reasonable, they are "kid friendly", and there are always a few Lowcounty favorites on the menu. We like the crab stuffed fried green tomatoes when they have them and Mike's beer bread with honey butter rocks!.
Mellow Mushroom - Located at 309 King Street, this casual pizzeria tosses a great pizza pie and provides a hip and relaxing social environment!
Vickery's Bar and Grill - Casual restaurant with a Cuban flare with locations off of King Street or on Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant. We particularly enjoy the Warm Artichoke Dip, the Salmon BLT, and the Cuban Reuben. They are also open late night.
Norm's Pizza Subs & Grill - Feel like a quiet evening in front of the TV? Norm's delivers pizza, gyros, wings, and subs. Call (843) 723-0506, place the order and it should be there within about 20 minutes.
There are also plenty of great places to eat in the Market area if you are just looking for a quick snack or a light bite. For links to more restaurants, check out the ODP Restaurant Guide or for restaurants and reviews check out ChefMoz Dining Guide.
